Thermal engineer

At Blue Paper, we’ve been making corrugated paper reels from 100% recovered cardboard since 2013.

We also produce green energy and treat 75% of our production waste in-house to produce the steam needed to manufacture our paper.

As part of a job creation programme, we are looking for a thermal engineer to join our Production department

Your tasks :

– Analysing energy data, processing large quantities of data and carrying out energy-related calculations,

– Carrying out technical studies and proposing solutions with a view to reducing specific energy consumption (thermal, electrical and water),

– Prepare the energy and water data and information required to respond to administrative applications (DREAL, grant applications, etc.),

– Carrying out tests and using the results in collaboration with the managers and experts of the associated processes,

– Carrying out technical studies in conjunction with the design office, from the design to the sizing of the installations,

– Monitor energy innovations and assess their local applicability,

– Replacing the Energy Manager in his/her absence.

Your working hours:

– Executive with fixed working days

– RTT

– Teleworking possible after 6 months’ seniority

Your profile:

– With an engineering degree in Thermal Engineering or Energy specialising in Industrial Energy, you have 5 years’ experience either in the design and commissioning or in the operation of thermal energy or steam production plants,

– You have a good command of Microsoft Office,

– You have a good level of English (B2 minimum).
