Production operator

The production operator supervises and regulates one or more production phases on automated machines, complying with safety rules, environmental standards and production requirements.

He/she specialises in one or more parts of the machine (dough preparation, drying, finishing).

Working environment

The operator follows the production schedule, checks the flow of materials through the machine, identifies sources of malfunction and adjusts settings if necessary. He/she works in shifts, in continuous rotation.

He/she works both at the plant and in the control room. They take part in preventive maintenance (every 4 to 6 weeks) and corrective maintenance (in the event of breakage). Some operators analyse production monitoring data, draw up production reports and also take product samples, reference them and record them for analysis.

Skills and qualifications

Depending on the speciality :

Scientific Bac or Bac Pro PCEPC (Water and Paperboard Chemical Processes).

BTS in Process Management, but also CQP in Paper Machine Operator or CQPI in Industrial Equipment Operator.
