A luminaire replacement campaign was launched last year to replace no fewer than 375 luminaires in our Production, Finishing and Maintenance halls.
This approach, in line with our commitments to the environment and to people, demonstrates Blue Paper’s investment in reducing its environmental impact and improving the working conditions of the men and women who work there.
Switching to LED lamps has not only enabled us to considerably reduce our electricity consumption, with savings of 250 watts per hour per luminaire – equivalent to the annual consumption of 2,345 fridges – but LED lamps also improve the quality of lighting in the workshops, making workstations safer.
