Preserving biodiversity

We attach great importance to preserving the biodiversity present on our site.

Blue Paper invests to reduce its carbon footprint

Since 2013 and the creation of Blue Paper, many investments have been made by the company. With the aim of limiting our environmental impact and preserving the planet's natural resources, we have set up a number of large-scale projects. Reducing our carbon footprint means investing in initiatives to develop the circular economy, produce green energy, convert process waste into steam and replace fossil fuels with renewable energy.

From Strasbourg to Duisbourg

The aim of the CIMR is to create synergies between its members, promoting the use of existing rail and waterway infrastructure to develop new logistics services and open up new destinations for Alsatian businesses. The logistics test we carried out attracted a lot of attention. This initiative uses the waterways to transport containerised reels of paper from Strasbourg to Duisburg, underlining the importance of low-carbon solutions for a more responsible supply chain.
