The creation of the Blue Paper botanical garden
To promote and raise awareness of its environment, the company has installed information signs on the trees on its site, in the style of a botanical garden. Employees are invited to rediscover this varied natural heritage, which is present all around them every day. In addition, the Biodiversity group is offering employees a jar of honey, produced by the bees in the beehives installed on the site. This year’s honey is amber in colour and smells of lime blossom.

A drawing competition to raise awareness of waste sorting among young people from neighbouring schools
After celebrating its 10th anniversary with employees, customers, suppliers and partners, Blue Paper organised a drawing competition for pupils from Ampère and Rhine schools, located near its mill. The competition, which ran until 22 December 2023, invited pupils to illustrate the recycling journey of a piece of cardboard into brown paper. In January 2024, a panel of Blue Paper employees selected the winners, making the competition an opportunity for the company to demonstrate its commitment to local communities and to raise awareness of sustainable practices among young people.

An artistic Christmas gift for all employees
For Christmas, we presented each of our employees with a unique work of art, signed by artist Eric Bleicher. The artwork represents Blue Paper's industrial site, capturing the essence of our working environment from an artistic perspective. As each piece is unique, it underlines the company's appreciation of its employees and its commitment to local art and culture.
