Sales administration technician

The Sales Administration Technician is responsible for the administrative processing of customer files. This includes managing customer-supplier relations and recording and monitoring orders. He/she plans the plant’s production and coordinates operations until the products are dispatched to the customer.

Working environment

The Sales Administration Technician must be able to reconcile customer orders with production and transport requirements.

Time management is essential: the schedule must be drawn up precisely in advance, particularly as the plant runs continuously and produces at weekends and at night.

To work as a Sales Administration Technician, you need to be rigorous, versatile and open-minded. As well as being able to analyse and summarise, they need to have a good command of IT and office automation tools.

As they are constantly interacting with customers, they must have excellent interpersonal skills and be fluent in English and German. It is essential that they have good writing skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

Skills and qualifications

BTS/DUT in commerce, sales (in Commercial Action or Marketing Techniques) with 5 years’ experience in industry.
